This two-day excursion makes the long journey from Galle to the Cultural Triangle comfortable. Travel north on day one with stops for comfort and lunch, check in near Sigiriya or Dambulla and, if time allows, enjoy a village experience or a nearby viewpoint. The next morning, climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress and, if you wish, visit the painted caves of Dambulla before the tour ends or continues to your next destination.
