Adam's Peak, or Sri Pada, is sacred to Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims and Christians. Pilgrims climb more than 5,000 steps by night to reach the summit at dawn, when the peak casts its famous triangular shadow across the hills.
Hidden Gems

- Tea and roti at the small stalls on the way up.
- The quiet Hatton route for fewer crowds.
Best Time to Visit
The pilgrimage season runs December to May, when the path is lit and the skies are clearest.
