Welcome to Lanka Hela Tours Pvt Ltd, a registered tour operator in Sri Lanka. By booking any service with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms outline your rights, responsibilities, and expectations when engaging with our services.
The terms “we”, “us”, “our” refer to Lanka Hela Tours Pvt Ltd, and “you”, “client”, “traveler” refer to the person making the booking or using our services.
1. Booking & Confirmation
- All bookings must be confirmed with a minimum 25% advance payment of the total tour cost.
- The remaining 75% balance must be settled:
- 14 days prior to arrival, or
- On arrival in Sri Lanka (as agreed in writing)
- A booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of the deposit and written confirmation from us.
2. Payment Methods
Payments can be made via:
- Bank transfer
- Online transfer (if applicable)
Once payment is made, a copy of the payment confirmation must be emailed to our official email address.
3. Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing via email and will be effective on the date received.
Cancellation charges apply as follows :-
- 30 days or more before arrival
Full refund (excluding bank/transfer charges) - 29 to 21 days before arrival
50% of total tour cost will be refunded - 20 days or less before arrival
100% cancellation fee (non-refundable)
4. Amendments & Changes
- We offer flexible tour customization whenever possible.
- Any request to amend bookings (dates, hotels, activities, etc.) must be made in advance in writing.
- Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional costs or cancellation fees.
5. No-Show Policy
Failure to arrive on the confirmed date without prior notice will be treated as a No-Show, and no refund will be provided.
6. Travel Insurance
- All travelers are strongly required to have valid travel insurance covering:
- Medical emergencies
- Accidents
- Trip cancellations
- Loss of personal belongings
- Lanka Hela Tours Pvt Ltd will not be responsible for any uninsured costs.
7. Health & Safety
- Travelers are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to travel.
- We recommend consulting a doctor before traveling if you have any pre-existing conditions.
- Any illness or injury during the tour must be immediately reported to our team for assistance.
8. Liability & Responsibility
- Lanka Hela Tours Pvt Ltd acts as an organizer and facilitator for travel services.
- We are not liable for:
- Delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by third parties (hotels, airlines, transport providers)
- Natural disasters, weather conditions, or force majeure events
- Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings
9. Itinerary Changes
- While we aim to follow the confirmed itinerary, we reserve the right to modify routes, accommodations, or activities due to:
- Weather conditions
- Road or safety issues
- Unforeseen operational requirements
- Any changes will be made in the best interest of the traveler.
10. Special Requests
Special requests (dietary needs, room preferences, etc.) will be communicated to suppliers but cannot be guaranteed.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By confirming a booking with Lanka Hela Tours Pvt Ltd, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
